Important New Tool For Homebuyers!

This morning I was reading an article by Bob Aaron, lawyer and columnist at The Star and he was talking about a new research tool available to realtors, lawyers and indeed the general public that will "research" your home much the same as the history report that you would get before purchasing a used vehicle. That report would show whether the car had been in an accident and any insurance claims against it. The new research tool for houses is being compiled by a company called Home-Verified and is available in major municipalities in Canada. The report would include information about insurance claims, both for the home and for the neighbourhood, school rankings, demographics and local amenities. One of the most important pieces of information will concern grow ops. I for one, think that this is an invaluable report for my clients buying their Mississauga home and most definitely will provide this report to all of my clients buying a home in Mississauga in order to protect them as much as possible. With the ongoing debate as to whether or not homeowners should sign a "Property Information Statement" when listing their Mississauga home for sale, this is a great way for me, their trusted realtor, to provide as much protection to them before they buy the home of their dreams.
